Kerala to Amend Laws for Faster Industrial Approvals

Kerala's government plans to amend laws to expedite industrial approvals under the 'One State, One Approval, One Document' system, said Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty. The Simplified and Accelerated Regulatory Approvals and Licensing Scheme aims to reduce delays in clearances from various departments. Amendments will include changes to laws, rules, land-use provisions, and incentive packages. Approvals will remain subject to departmental scrutiny but within fixed timeframes.

Delhi University Plans Rs 8,000 Crore Hostels for 30,000+ Students

Delhi University is planning an Rs 8,000-crore project to build new hostels and redevelop existing ones to accommodate over 30,000 students.
