A Kerala health inspector named Sreeji allegedly flushed Rs 10,000 bribe money down a toilet when Vigilance officials arrived at his rented house in Tirurangadi, Malappuram. The money was recovered after officials dismantled the toilet and searched the drainage. Sreeji had demanded the bribe from an expatriate woman seeking a municipal license for her hotel and juice stall. He was taken into custody following the incident last Thursday.
