Kerala Child Rights Panel Files Case Over Malnutrition Death

A two-year-old boy named Rahul died from suspected malnutrition in Alappuzha district, Kerala. The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights registered a case, and the Child Welfare Committee took custody of the couple's four children amid parental neglect allegations. Rahul weighed only 7.6 kg, far below the average 12 kg for his age, and was severely anaemic, according to the autopsy report.
