Kenyan Researchers Convert Human Waste into Fertiliser for 1,000 Farmers
Researchers in Kenya are transforming human waste collected from Kisumu's informal settlements into an agricultural fertiliser named KIYA Gold. Developed in collaboration with Cornell University and Kenyan partners, this fertiliser aims to enhance soil quality and reduce pollution by linking sanitation efforts with food production. It is intended to benefit around 1,000 farmers.
