Karnataka to Launch Policy Promoting Tourism Startups

The Karnataka Tourism Department will create a Tourism Startup Promotion Policy to encourage technology-driven solutions for tourism challenges. The policy targets destination management, digital services, tourist safety, mobility, accessibility, cleanliness, and sustainable tourism. Startups will develop solutions for identified problems, with pilots at tourism sites before wider adoption, said Tourism Minister K J George and Secretary Ram Prasath Manohar.
