TechnologyKarnataka to Introduce AI Classes from Class 6 in Government Schools
Karnataka plans to start teaching Artificial Intelligence to government school students from Class 6, following Chief Minister D K Shivakumar's directive. AI training currently exists for Class 9 students, with efforts underway to extend it to younger students. Google has shown interest in supporting this initiative. The government is also seeking land for an AI university and hiring 956 teachers on an outsourcing basis.
