Karnataka Petrol Pumps Sell Ethanol Above 20% Limit, Minister Says

Karnataka's Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rizwan Arshad revealed that nearly 80% of petrol pumps tested in the state sold petrol with ethanol content exceeding the 20% limit. Samples from various districts showed ethanol levels as high as 31.2%. The government collected 63 samples and sent them to a certified private lab after oil marketing companies failed to provide data.
