Karnataka HC stays probe against BJP leader over fake voter deletion

The Karnataka High Court on October 13 stayed the investigation into an FIR against BJP leader Ravi Patil and others for allegedly submitting fake Form 7 applications to delete Muslim voters during the Special Intensive Revision. Justice Venkatesh Naik T cited a similar case where investigation was stayed as electoral authorities had not yet ruled on objections. The next hearing is on October 29.
