Karnataka Rakshana Vedike's coordinator TA Narayan Gouda has written to the Bangalore Police Commissioner demanding no permission for Sonu Nigam's concert on October 24 at Indian Mall, Thanisandra Main Road. The group alleges Nigam hurt Kannada speakers' sentiments by comparing their linguistic pride to the Pulwama attack in April 2025. They warned of statewide protests if allowed.
