WorldKarnataka Engineering Colleges Facilitate Student Jobs in Japan
Private engineering colleges in Coastal Karnataka are enabling their students to secure direct employment in Japanese companies. NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, has 115 graduates from the 2025-26 batch with engineering visas ready to work in Japan. Over five years, 340 students from NMAM have been employed in Japan, mainly in mechanical, electrical, and IT fields, with over 30% women. Sahyadri College has placed 150 graduates in Japan since 2017.
