Karnataka Deletes 99.3 Million Voters in 115-Day Electoral Roll Revision

Karnataka's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) over 115 days led to the deletion of 99,32,303 voter names, announced Chief Electoral Officer Anbu Kumar. The final electoral roll now lists 4,55,00,011 voters, including 2,25,50,493 males, 2,29,12,355 females, 2,841 transgender voters, and 44,322 service voters. Notices were issued to 43.8 lakh people, with 61,960 hearings pending. Form 7 applications totaled 2,29,235, with 1,88,324 examined and deletions made accordingly. Missing voters can still apply to be included.
