The Karnataka State Contractors Association (KSCA) has given Chief Minister DK Shivakumar a December deadline to clear pending bills worth Rs 38,000 crore. KSCA president R Manjunath warned that if payments are not made, they will expose widespread bribery and interference by 75% of MLAs in public works. The association represents 1.5 lakh contractors and plans foot marches across districts.
