Karnataka Cabinet Approves Rs 1,118 Crore More for Anekal-Nelamangala Ring Road

The Karnataka Cabinet approved an additional Rs 1,118.5 crore to complete the 134-km Anekal-Sarjapur-Varthur-Airport-Nelamangala ring road project. Originally sanctioned in 2017 at Rs 2,290.5 crore, the cost rose to Rs 3,409 crore due to land acquisition, price escalation, delays, and extra works. Rs 266.83 crore is for land acquisition and Rs 347.54 crore for price adjustments. The Cabinet urged officials to expedite completion. The road will improve connectivity to Kempegowda International Airport and link Bidadi to Sarjapur via Varthur.
