Karl Bushby Reaches Britain After 28-Year Walk From Chile

Karl Bushby began his Goliath Expedition in November 1998, walking from Punta Arenas, Chile, to his hometown Hull, England, without using transportation. After nearly 30 years and crossing four continents, he reached British soil on October 5, 2026, by swimming the English Channel. He landed near Dover and still has about 400 km left to walk to Hull. The journey was inspired by a birthday card from his father.
