Justice Rajesh Bindal Appointed NCLAT Chairperson

Former Supreme Court judge Justice Rajesh Bindal was appointed chairperson of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Thursday. He retired from the Supreme Court in April 2024 after over three years. His appointment follows Justice Ashok Bhushan's tenure ending in July 2026 and interim chairperson Justice Yogesh Khanna's extended term. The Supreme Court recently scrutinized NCLAT's functioning and ministry control.
