A US federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to stop airing $20 million worth of taxpayer-funded television ads promoting President Trump's political message. The temporary restraining order, issued by US District Judge Jennifer L. Rochon in New York, prevents the government from renewing or expanding ad contracts during a two-week court order. The ads were challenged by watchdog group Common Cause for unlawful use of public funds.
