JP Nadda Launches JOSH Teams for Tuberculosis Elimination

Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched JOSH (Joint Squad for Health) teams under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, involving NCC cadets and MY Bharat volunteers. These teams will operate in 55 districts across 11 states to enhance community outreach, promote TB awareness, early diagnosis, treatment adherence, and reduce stigma. Each team includes five volunteers and five cadets led by a Class-I officer at the block or ward level.
