ICE Removes Guyanese Immigrant Kanand Ojha Over 2015 Murder

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) removed 45-year-old Kanand Ojha, wanted in Guyana for the 2015 murder of Nephi Noel in Georgetown. Ojha was arrested in Queens on September 8, 2025, after entering the US legally in July 2015 but losing his immigration status due to an outstanding warrant. He was deported on September 18, 2025.
