Jio-bp Raises Petrol by ₹5 and Diesel by ₹3 per Litre

Reliance Industries-backed Jio-bp has increased petrol prices by ₹5 and diesel by ₹3 per litre, effective Sunday. In Punjab, petrol now costs around ₹108.54 and diesel ₹99.19 per litre, while in Haryana, petrol is ₹109.80 and diesel ₹97.75. This is Jio-bp's first price hike this year, following a similar increase by Nayara Energy on October 3. The diesel sales cap of 50 litres may become irrelevant due to this hike.
