Jesse Eisenberg wrote and directed the musical comedy 'The Debut,' starring Julianne Moore, who he described as "the greatest actress in the world." The film, which closed the London Film Festival, features Moore as Mona, a shy New Jersey housewife who finds purpose and community through a local theatre musical. Eisenberg was inspired by his community theatre experiences and wrote seven original songs for the film's musical segment.
