Japan's Mars Moons Exploration (MMX) spacecraft is set to launch from Tanegashima Space Center to collect material from Phobos, a moon of Mars, and return it to Earth. Launching on an H3 rocket, it will reach Mars in August 2027, study Phobos for three years, and fly by Deimos before returning. This mission marks the first attempt to bring back samples from Mars' moons for analysis.
