Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) has voiced concerns about threats to electoral integrity, religious freedom, and the right to peaceful protest. They highlighted issues with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, misuse of form 7 to target Muslim and other community voters, and increasing restrictions on protests, especially in Delhi and BJP-ruled states. Leaders Prof Salim Engineer and Dr Mohammed Saad Belgami cited media reports of false objections and forged signatures aimed at voter suppression.
