Jaipur Authority to Install 5 MW Solar Plants on Dravyavati STPs and Gardens
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) will install 5 MW solar power plants on rooftops of six sewage treatment plants and two gardens along the Dravyavati River. Implemented via Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation, the project will reduce carbon emissions by 5,227 tonnes annually and generate 72 lakh units of electricity yearly, saving JDA around ₹6.12 crore annually and yielding a net economic benefit of ₹31.94 crore over 11 years.
