Jackie Chan Supports Efforts to Save South China Tiger

Jackie Chan has supported efforts to save the South China tiger, one of the world's rarest big cats. Once native to southern China, no wild South China tigers have been confirmed for decades. A 2001-2002 survey across eight reserves in five provinces found no evidence of wild tigers, with few prey animals and human activity impacting habitats. Researchers suggest a few tigers might still exist but no viable population remains.
