The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is strengthening security along the India-China border by forming drone platoons in all border battalions and preparing to build large-scale underground bunkers along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). A new training course named 'Strike' has been introduced to prepare troops for situations like the Galwan Valley clash. ITBP Director General Shatrughan Singh Kapoor shared these details during a ceremony in Alwar, Rajasthan. The force is modernizing weapons, vehicles, and border posts with a government-approved budget of 400 crore rupees, 70% of which is allocated to enhancing drone warfare capabilities.
