SciencePhoto: Hindu ScienceISRO Official Confirms TRISHNA Satellite Nears Launch
The Indo-French TRISHNA satellite, designed for high-resolution thermal infrared imaging of natural resources, is in an advanced stage of development and expected to launch within 12 to 16 months. Jasvinder Singh Khoral, Director at U.R. Rao Satellite Centre, stated this is the third joint satellite project between India and France after Megha-Tropiques and SARAL. URSC is responsible for the satellite bus and some payloads, while France's CNES will provide other payloads.
