Israel has implemented strict new security measures for airlines operating flights to and from the country following a foiled terrorist attack on flydubai Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Airlines must now submit crew information at least 48 hours before departure for background checks. These rules apply to all incoming and outgoing flights and were introduced after a security review ordered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
