IRDAI Upgrades Business Analytics Platform for Health Insurance

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has upgraded its Business Analytics Platform (BAP) to improve regulatory reporting and health insurance product functions. From November 2, insurers must use the BAP portal to generate unique identification numbers (UINs) for new and modified health insurance products and submit updates on product withdrawals. The upgrade aims to streamline health regulatory returns and product management.
