IOC Q2 Profit Rises 184% on Better Refining Margins
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) reported a standalone net profit of ₹21,630 crore in the September quarter, more than doubling due to improved refining margins and lower crude oil prices from mid-June to mid-August. The company warned that future earnings might face pressure from inventory losses if crude prices fall as Middle East conditions normalize. IOC also plans to launch packaged drinking water at 43,000 fuel outlets to boost non-fuel revenue.
