International Body Suspends Equestrian Federation of India from December

The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) will suspend the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI) starting December 1, 2026, due to a prolonged governance crisis caused by the absence of an elected executive committee. The suspension bars Indian riders, officials, trainers, and horses from international competitions. The FEI board approved this decision on October 13, following the Delhi High Court's dissolution of EFI's executive committee in February 2026 and failure to hold fresh elections.
