BusinessIndiGo Raises Fuel Surcharge for Third Time Amid Rising ATF Prices
IndiGo has increased its fuel surcharge for the third time due to rising aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices caused by the West Asia conflict. The revised surcharge applies to bookings from October 6, 2026, with charges ranging from ₹375 to ₹1,300 for domestic flights based on distance. IndiGo described the increase as a measured adjustment amid volatile fuel costs, which have risen over 14% month-on-month and are among the highest in a decade.
