Indian Teen First to Have Tooth Growing from Eye Socket

A 16-year-old Indian boy became the first person in the world to have a fully developed tooth growing out of his left eye socket, a rare medical case called an 'ectopic tooth.' Typically, ectopic teeth appear in unusual places like behind cheekbones or nasal palate, but this is the first documented case between the eyelid and eyebrow. The boy had painless swelling for a month before the tooth was discovered.
