Indian Railways May Approve Bonus for Over 10 Lakh Employees This Festive Season

The Indian government is likely to approve a productivity-linked bonus (PLB) for over 10 lakh Indian Railways employees during the festive season. The Modi cabinet may sanction this annual bonus for FY2025-26, which equals 78 days' salary. In September, the cabinet approved Rs 1,865.68 crore for 10,91,146 employees as PLB. The maximum bonus per employee can be Rs 17,951.
