Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has ordered that all non-drinking water needs in government offices and public spaces use 100% treated wastewater. He emphasized strict monitoring of sewage treatment plants (STPs) to maintain water quality and prevent potable water wastage. The CM also directed the use of AI technology at STPs, appointment of special officers, and connection of plants to a Command Control Centre for oversight by HYDRAA. Treated water is also to be used for landscaping along the Outer Ring Road and other areas.
