Indian Pilot Stable After Co-Pilot Attack on Flydubai Flight

Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar is in stable condition and receiving treatment in a hospital in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after being seriously injured resisting an alleged attempt by his co-pilot to crash Flydubai flight FZ1073. The flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, carrying 174 people including 27 children, landed safely in Tabuk. Indian authorities are in contact with his family and Saudi officials.
