Indian Pilot Smit Machchhar Recovering Well After Cockpit Attack

Indian Ambassador to the UAE Deepak Mittal confirmed that Flydubai pilot Captain Smit Machchhar is in good health and recovering well after being seriously injured by his co-pilot during an attempted crash on flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The plane made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Machchhar was hospitalized in Tabuk before being transferred to the UAE for further treatment. The Indian Embassy is coordinating with local authorities for his care.
