Indian-origin woman arrested in Delhi for ₹60 lakh German citizenship fraud

Delhi Police arrested Poonam Jezler, a German citizen of Indian origin, at IGI Airport for allegedly cheating Pranzal Kumar of ₹60 lakh by promising to arrange permanent residency in Germany. Jezler conspired with others, including a man claiming to work at the German Embassy, but failed to deliver citizenship or refund the money. An FIR was filed at Vasant Kunj police station in 2025.
