Indian-Origin Seventh-Grader Increases Atmospheric Water Output by 117%
Ankith Burki, a seventh-grader at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, developed an atmospheric water generator that uses low-frequency sound waves to enhance water collection efficiency. Testing showed a 117% increase in water production under certain sound conditions. His innovation earned him a finalist spot in the 2026 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge.
