Indian Navy Sailor Arrested for Sharing Maritime Intelligence with Pakistani Agent

A 31-year-old Indian Navy sailor, Pradeep Mukherjee, was arrested on October 3 in Coimbatore for allegedly sharing sensitive maritime intelligence with a Pakistani female agent through a honey-trap on social media. Mukherjee, from West Bengal and posted at the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam, was undergoing a management course at INS Agrani when detained. The counter-intelligence cell of Andhra Pradesh police uncovered the espionage after detecting suspicious digital footprints.
