Indian Foreign Ministry on Chinese Troops Deviating from Patrol Norms

The Indian Foreign Ministry stated that tensions along the India-China border escalate when Chinese troops deviate from agreed patrol methods. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said both countries are using diplomatic and military mechanisms to resolve pending border issues and avoid misunderstandings along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). They have agreed to discuss ways to improve mutual understanding in certain LAC areas to maintain peace and stability, which supports overall bilateral relations.
