The Indian embassy in Riyadh and consulate in Jeddah are working with airlines and tour operators to facilitate the early return of Indian pilgrims stranded in Saudi Arabia. This follows an attack at Dammam's King Fahd International Airport that killed one Indian and injured two others. Around 3,000 pilgrims have returned so far. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi urged the government to arrange more flights for the remaining 4,000 pilgrims stuck in Makkah and Madina.
