PoliticsIndian Aviation Authorities Review Advisory After Flydubai Incident
Indian civil aviation authorities are conducting internal deliberations to decide if an aviation security advisory is needed following a Flydubai flight incident. A co-pilot attempted to crash the plane en route to Tel Aviv but was stopped after the Indian captain, Smit Machchhar, sustained serious injuries while intervening. The Flydubai flight safely landed with 174 passengers aboard. Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha confirmed the matter is under examination.
