Indian Army Athletes Win Record 20 Medals at Asian Games

Indian Army athletes achieved their best-ever performance at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, winning 20 medals out of India's total 85. The 62 Army athletes competed in 15 disciplines, securing six gold, eight silver, and six bronze medals. Their six gold medals doubled their previous tally from the 2023 Hangzhou Games. Notable athletes include Neeru Dhanda with two golds and a silver in trap shooting, and Gulveer Singh, the first Indian male track athlete to win three individual medals in one Games.
