BusinessIndia to Launch Multiple Flex-Fuel Cars Soon, Says Nitin Gadkari
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that leading automakers like Mahindra, Toyota, Suzuki, and Hyundai will launch flex-fuel vehicles capable of running on 100% ethanol or petrol within the next one to two months. This initiative aims to reduce India's fossil fuel imports, promote pollution-free mobility, and support farmers by boosting ethanol production from crops like corn. Maruti Suzuki has already launched a flex-fuel Wagon R variant.
