India Successfully Test-Fires Indigenous Pralay Missile Off Odisha Coast

India successfully test-fired the indigenously developed quasi-ballistic missile Pralay from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha's coast. The missile, developed by DRDO, is a short-range surface-to-surface weapon capable of carrying 500-1,000 kg conventional warheads with high precision. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh confirmed the test met all objectives, marking imminent induction of the system.
