India Sets Import Quotas for Kiwi, Apples Under NZ FTA
India will introduce a quota system for importing apples, kiwifruit, Manuka honey, and albumins from New Zealand under the Free Trade Agreement. The quotas will gradually increase over five years, starting with no apple imports in the first year. Duty rates will vary by product and CIF value, regulating import volumes and trade dynamics.
