India's WPI Inflation Rises to 11.39% in September 2026

India's wholesale price inflation (WPI) rose to 11.39% in September 2026 from 9.92% in August, driven by higher prices in fuel, power, manufactured products, and primary articles. Food inflation increased to 8.66% from 7.05%. The fuel and power category inflation surged to 25.85%, with mineral oils inflation jumping to 40.02%. This marks the fifth consecutive monthly rise in WPI inflation.
