India's Soybean Output Expected to Decline 2.1% in Kharif Season
India's soybean production is forecasted to decline by 2.1% to 107.93 lakh tonnes during the current Kharif season. Drought-like conditions in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana are reducing output, but increased production in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan is expected to offset these losses. Soybean cultivation area has increased by about 5 lakh hectares compared to last season.
