India's GST Collections Rise 22.9% to Rs 2.31 Lakh Crore in October

India's gross GST collections increased by 22.9% year-on-year to Rs 2.31 lakh crore in October. Import-related GST revenue surged 42.2% to Rs 72,246 crore, outpacing the 15.8% rise in domestic revenue to Rs 1.59 lakh crore. After refunds, net import revenue grew 56.2% to Rs 58,319 crore, and net domestic revenue rose 16.4% to Rs 1.45 lakh crore. Total net GST revenue reached Rs 2.03 lakh crore, with refunds up 6.5% to Rs 27,934 crore.
