India's GST Collections Cross ₹2 Lakh Crore in September, Up 14.7%

India's gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue in September 2026 crossed ₹2,03,521 crore, marking a 14.7% year-on-year increase from ₹1,77,365 crore in September 2025. Net revenue after refunds rose 18.1% to ₹1,76,520 crore. Refunds decreased by 3% to ₹27,001 crore. Import-linked GST revenue surged 25.9%, while domestic business GST grew 10.1%. Experts credit lower refunds and rising import GST for the growth.
